C64 Contributor's Page
This section of the TND web site consists of programs, written by all friends and contributors. Being games, demos, tools or whatever, I am happy to help support people who write stuff for the good old Commodore 64 computer, even if they are SEUCK games, or anything like that :o)

If you have a game, or anything you would like me to release on to this page (This is where you could be a mega star) then please bung me an email and attach a .D64, .T64 or .PRG to the usual email address.

To be able to download, please click on the disk icon, under the name.

. All images are zipped .D64 images, and run on CCS64 or WinVice.

By downloading this software, you automatically agree to follow this agreement of usage
(Use back button in browser to return to this page)

To be able to use these following files. You will need to transfer the .D64/.PRG images to a real Commodore 64 using an XE1541 cable with Star Commander (you can also use XM1541-cable with Starcommander and with user port driver under XP too :)  Alternatively, you can download one of those three highly recommended C64 emulators.

Genre: SEUCK (Vertical scrolling)
Tape loader: Martin Piper

The Bank of the Wild West is being trashed out by the gunslingers of the Bounty Boys. You are a Sheriff who is in charge of this goddarn stinkin' town. You have been assigned to guard the bank, as a series of robberies have been taking place quite recently. Who is to blame for this? The Bounty Boys of course, A series of gunslingers, who want nothing but money. They will give it their best shot to get what the want. It's time to draw!

As a Sherrif in this goddarn' stinkin' town. You must guard the bank respectfully. Just as you thought the bank was very quiet. The customers come rolling in. And also uninvited pests - those robbin' gunslingers. Move your crosshair left/right across the screen, shooting at the robbers that come by. You'll see the firing bullets, slightly near the bottom of your crosshair. There are going to be some situations in which you must shoot carefully. As some of those robbers will be ready to cause havoc to you and the bank.

There are also visitors coming into the bank (as said before). If you pop them full of lead  you'll have to pay a penalty of losing a life. The people you must avoid shooting are: the fair ladies and the unarmed men. At times during the game, you will need fast reactions. Especially if those bad guys fire something out of their guns. There will also be round bombs, in which you must blast quickly before they explode.

It's a rootin', a tootin' and a whole lotta shootin' Sherrif!

Graphics: Anthony Burns (Except for loading picture which was done by Richard Bayliss)

Music: Richard Bayliss
Genre: SEUCK (Horizontal scrolling)
Tape loader: Dance-A-Load/Martyload

This is a one-player game, but it uses both joysticks. You start the game on foot, using joystick port two (If you try to start using port one, you will not be able to progress beyond the opening screen). If you can get past level 2, you will be instructed to switch to port one. From this point on, you will be flying, and the game will scroll automatically.

When you are told to “stand by” do not move the joystick, or you risk colliding with dangerous areas of the background. These have been placed in such a way as to make certain levels inaccessible to the “walker” and others to the “flyer” so that they can only be on-screen at the correct time.

When you are on-foot, you fight at close range, in the direction you are pointing. Do not venture off the grey walkways: the infrastructure of the conversion centre is deadly to the touch, and keep clear of the walkway edges where the passage is narrow. Similar caution applies when you are flying: steer clear of anything that is not plain sky (unless it is a bonus pickup). When you are flying, you fire forwards, with a long-range weapon.

Note. This game contains content of horror and nudity, which could be unsuitable for sensitive people.
