The Walker Group's crack of Sub Hunter
After I saw the release of
the Sub
Hunter crack just after a week the game got released by Psytronik
Software. I got really angry and probably too worked out, that I
requested the CSDB admin to remove the download link to the crack.
Thankfully the download link was indeed removed from the CSDB. Today I
have been browsing through the internet curiously to find anything else
related to Sub Hunter cracks and unfortunately that crack still stands
around the C64 world today on various web sites and Commodore ftp's.
This would be very
hard for me to try and stop so I gave up at the end. Anyway, here is a
video of the crackro in action
... an insult to nearly 5 years of hard work. A masterpiece of a game,
ruined by a bunch of idiots.
By the way, it will not put me off making new games for the C64 and I am still going strong on this good old machine!
